Buffering and missing programme-guide information can come from the home network, device, player settings or subscription source. Change one thing at a time so you can identify the actual cause.
Test the internet connection
Restart the modem, router and streaming device. Run a speed and stability test near the television. A high headline speed does not guarantee consistent delivery when Wi-Fi interference or packet loss is present.
Try Ethernet
A wired connection often provides the clearest diagnosis. If playback improves over Ethernet, focus on router placement, Wi-Fi channels and distance rather than repeatedly reinstalling the app.
Update the application and device
Use official updates for TiviMate and the operating system. Avoid third-party modified builds. Restart after updating so background services load cleanly.
Refresh the programme guide
Use the app’s guide-update option and check the time zone. Missing EPG data can also originate from the subscription source, in which case the provider must correct it.
Review storage and background apps
Low storage and too many running applications can slow a streaming device. Remove unused apps and clear temporary cache, but avoid deleting app data unless you have a backup of your configuration.
